This adventure was about a long-range exploration mission (using a special starship which just happened to be built with badly explained super-extended stutterwarp range so it could boldly go etc. There were at least a couple of species in the "Bayern" adventure (which I hated and would never have bothered to use anyway). There was one ultra-peaceful and pretty advanced (but disorganized) vaguely humanoid species mostly enslaved by Kafers (they still had a few independent worlds on the other side of Kafer space the only reason the Kafers had not bothered to invade these is that these guys were too peaceful to be either a threat or a challenge, no fun fighting them). There were those extinct things in the Nyotekundu module (the remains of one is found and causes some bad stuff to happen). "Klaxun" (the ultra-primitive guys in the Energy Curve scenario, when I ran 2300AD I decided that this scenario had not yet happened so they were unknown I never ran it but if I had they would have been named by the players). Then there were several species that could be discovered in the course of playing some module or other. Explore Jay Slattery's board 'Traveller Aliens', followed by 213 people on Pinterest.

This adventure is designed for one 3rd-level PC of any race or class. Major Races The 'major' races are called such because they have all developed jump drive independently, and/or forged a multi-sector domain using it. Collected and put together by Mitch Schwartz. Pentapods (the friendly mercantile biotech critters)Įbers (big blocky types with long arms, elephant-like noses and eyes on stalks, had an interstellar civilization long ago but nuked themselves back to the stone age, were just about reinventing steam engines by the time they were contacted). This website is dedicated to the now defunct tabletop Role Playing Game James. This document is a comprehensive (but not exhaustive) list of Alien and Human Races named in Traveller. Mongoose plans on doing a whole book on aliens sometime in the future. Possibly more playable races may appear in JTAS. At this time MgT2 rules have only been published for Aslan and Vargr in the core rulebook, and Bwap in the Traveller Companion. Xiang (the weirdos enslaved by the Sung, native to another world in the same solar system) There are many more alien races in the 3rd Imperium setting. Sung (winged little dudes, had their own interplanetary civilization when contacted).
